spring arrived in warszawa with all its force! I don't stop walking around in the city and enjoying the marvellous weather. everybody who says, that warzawa isn't a beautiful city is absolutely WRONG - it's an amazing city!
the sun and warmth really got me!
last week a friend showed me a nice café on a really cute place, called "plac zbawiciela" - I made a nice panorama-photo so that you can get an idea of the place:

I think I will pass all my free-time in this cute little café - and I have muuuuch free-time ;)
so, yes: the long search for a perfect café has finally come to its end!
whats new?
even though nothing special really happened since my last comment I want to give you a short impression of what I'm doing...
university? ähm, yes, I still could tell you where the university is, but I admit, that I'm not really occupied with it - sorry erni (see her blog - linklist)
for all that don't know this very important fact of my life: I'm used to eating schnitzel every monday evening - with a good beer and fries and ketchup and...
but since the beginning of my stay here in warszawa I was missing this crucial detail to complete my weeks!
but now I can eventually call myself satisfied again: we found - or better, we finally went to the restaurant we heard about already quite a long time: the "u szwejka" (www.uszwejka.pl) is a marvellous restaurant remembering one of a typical czech and bavarian restaurant and of course the schweizerhaus (in vienna) at once!
I already asked myself, if they were in contact with the SV (www.selbstverstaendlich.at/) - my good viennese monday-schnitzel-station - because they have exactly the same offer: schnitzel (or sznycel as the Poles spell it) for the same price (15zl = ~ €3,8)!
ok, I admit, it's not exactly the same offer: not only that in the szwejka 1l of beer is only 7zl (~ €1,8) on mondays but also the sznycel is 4 times bigger and definitely 4 times better!
after monday normally comes tuesday: which means our beloved hybrydy-club!!!
unfortunately people are going there later and later every week, so that last week the club was still quite empty when we arrived at midnight... but don't worry, people dropped into so it was no problem for me to stay till they switch on the lights ;)
last week we also went to the oscar-night - a cinema-marathon, where 3 oscar-winning films ("the departed", "das leben der anderen" and "labyrinth fauna") were played one after the other between 22:00 - 5:00 in the multikino! we bought the tickets especially because of the first two films.
but I don't know who corrupted the cinema, because unfortunately they changed the order, so the second film was the spanish one! and the polish subtitles didn't really help us out of this misery! ;(
last point to fulfil my mission of writing a more or less interesting and long comment: talking about the museum of the warsaw uprising:
on sunday I went to this particular museum "muzeum powstania warszawskiego" (http://www.1944.pl/)- one of the most impression museums I've ever seen!
It's hard to describe, what is so interesting and special about it... it's so interactive and... I don't know how to describe it!
just come and see it by yourself!!
As one could spent hours and hours in there I will definitely have to return there again!
